The Confidant, a new movie from the stable of Fumerries Film Productions has the duo of Ibrahim Chatta and Bimbo Oshin, one of Nigeria’s top superstars playing the role of a couple with an interpretation of the story with maximum enthusiasm.
Olori Funmilola said, “Bringing the duo together to play the lead role of a husband and wife was the first of its kind. She stressed further that the movie Xrays the common norms in the society today, and the movie is tailored towards correcting the wrong and making our society a better place for all and Sundry.
She continued, it’s a scenario where we love, we bond, we care, but how does this happen when you don’t trust or when you trust and you were later betrayed by that one person close to you. It’s my own way of preaching trust/betrayal and lies in a theatric form.”
