Proposed Buruj football club multi million dollars stadium project has attracted the interest of foreign investors, private shareholders and individual Stakeholders as the club looks to actualize the admirable stadium project.
The academy which is situated in the magnificent city of Ogolonto Ikorodu Lagos State has begun to yield positive attractions as nulti-national companies, institutions are beginning to contact the club management on the posibility of been a part of the giant stride project.
Speaking further on the Project: Buruj Football Club/Academy CEO Salaudeen Waheed Buruj who newly acquired three acres of land in Ikorodu for the multi million dollars project states that the management are working tiredlessly to ensure our youth engage in their choosen career without any limitations or hinderances.
“Youths of today form the largest population in most countries like Nigeria. Making provision for their mental development is a key role of both governments and elites.”
“Most of these youths are driven by peer pressure and lack of proper guardianship which makes them derail from their purpose to embrace what they tag as “Stress-free life” living on drugs.”
“Buruj Sports Academy in our stand has over the years been a legally structured institute that is prone to be tax compliant and file returns as at when due also an affiliate of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Lagos State Football Association (LSFA) filled the gap and ensuring that youth and teens are being allowed to follow their dreams to detail while been placed under proper guardianship and counseling,” Waheed remarked.
It will be noteworthy that Buruj academy was recently ranked topmost by the technical department of the Nigeria Football Federation for nurturing, developing and exposing raw talents to international standard and also assist in building their profile to attract foreign lucrative contract.
The academy has represented the Nation and triumph in International Tournaments i.e. Double Champion of the English and Welsh Int’l Super Cup 2017 and 2018, and 2019 Runner up.
The $1million Stadium projects will house a swimming pool, 5000 spectators capacity, changing room for two teams, Tennis Cort, Shopping Mall, Mini-Mart, Event Hall, Hostel, Athletic track, Clinic, Learning Centre that can be used as annex to most Tertiary Institution within and outside the country.
