… Alumoni Concept, Producers Of Owuro Lawa Laments over 8 months unpaid Share

Lagos State Television station transmission had shut down since 7:58pm on Saturday, 21st May 2022 due no diesel because suppliers are owed millions of naira of unpaid debts, Thecitypulsenews confidently reports.

As at the moment of filling this report (11am, Sunday 22, May 2022) sources revealed that  the General Manager Mrs Siju Alabi sent cash to the technician on duty to purchase 5 drums – 1,000 litres of diesel to restart and put the station back alive.

The question is  – Why will the state ministry of Information allow such vital parastatal, mouthpiece of the governor go off or would the General Manager Mrs Siju Alabi allow the station to shut down permanently since yesterday if it belongs to her.

When the staff were probed further on this incidence, they said it was not the first time the station will shut down due to lack of diesel.

Some concerned staff of the station said only God knows how long the 1,000 litres of diesel would last ‘God save Lagos Television. God save Lagos State, they concluded.

Meanwhile, a reliable source revealed to this news platform that the station is owing is major partner Alumoni Concept, the producer of popular Yoruba programme ‘OWURO LAWA‘ close to eight months share of what they are suppose to get as their commission from the money they made for the station.

The source further revealed that efforts by Alumoni Concept for government intervention to help them retrieve their part of the money from Lagos Television proved abortive as commissioner and permanent secretary for information failed to act on the letter written to them, both offices even denied receiving the letter.

The GM, Siju Alabi was seen blabbing that nobody can do anything to her even if they report her, she said she will be travelling soon and not until she comes back nothing can be done.

The source went ahead to say that, is like the commissioner and his team are ready to discredit governor Babajide’s Sanwo-Olu’s effort to revive the station.

Recall, Sanwo-Olu just spent millions of Naira to renovate the structure of the station.

Investigation, reveals that the commissioner and the perm.sec of information are the brain behind Siju Alabi’s maladministration of the station because her tenure has expired and they refuse to bring in another person.

We gathered Siju Alabi was smuggled into the system by former commissioner for information and ex-Permanent Secretary of the information ministry, Fola Adeyemi, without express approval of governor Akinwunmi Ambode and her tenure has expired since end on March.
