Prophetess Silekunola Naomi has reacted to the backlash that greeted her recent announcement concerning her marriage
She had announced on social media that her marriage to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has ended
Speaking today, Prophetess Silekunola Naomi appealed to critics to allow peace to reign as she announced her separation from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
The evangelist urged all parties involved to allow the peace of God because of her son, Tadenikawo, who the Ooni fathered.
Prophetess Naomi has stated that her son is her priority and she would like to focus on him.
“I, at this moment, appeal to all parties involved to allow the peace of God with the consciousness that there is a lovely little boy between us. I thank all of my prayer partners and loved ones.”
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Ooni of Ife, Moses Olafare, said the palace is probing possible hacking of Queen Naomi’s Instragam page.
The aggrieved wife of the monarch used the social media platform, where she is verified, to announce her separation from him.
The Ooni’s spokesman insists the couple are still husband and wife, denying knowledge of the report that the marriage between the monarch and his wife has ended.
Also, Ile Oodua elders are making a last-minute move to reconcile the Ooni of Ife and his estranged wife.
Some of the elders have already contacted Prophetess Naomi in a bid to reconcile their differences.
The elders’ team was comprised of traditional rulers and prominent members of the Ile-Ife community.
