Sequel to the appointment of Comrade Abdul-Azeez Abiola, ISTIJABAH as the Caretaker Committee Chairman whose affairs is to manage the activities of tricycles operation within lagos state has caused a rift in the state between the two involved road transportation workers; the “Nurtw and the Tooan”.
Alhaji Azeez Abiola, who was appointed to be the caretaker committee chairman was formerly the zonal chairman, Tricycle Owners And Operators Association Of Nigeria (TOOAN) an affiliate of NURTW Zone C in Lagos, who has actively been involved in the easy affairs of the state transport system before his appointment and after which his appointment has caused a clash between “Tooan & Nurtw”. In a bid, to settle the differences amicably, Alhaji Ismail Issa Abiodun, aka, Esi Adura, the Branch Chairman, Branch E under the leadership of Zone M has gone on the social media to express his thoughts on the ongoing rivalry and clash between the two involved parties aftermath the video released from Alhaji Azeez’s media team.
Esi Adura, made it known to 1steleven9jatv media team that Alhaji Azeez Abiola was never a member of the Tricycle Owners And Operators Association Of Nigeria (TOOAN), he said he’s only part of the NURTW. In his words, he made us to understand that he has made his thoughts known initially to some group of leaders in the board on the appointment by Baruwa that a day like this would come where indifferences will set in because of the irregularities in the appointment.
However, Alhaji Ismail Issa Abiodun, advises Istijabah and his followers not to set on the toes of Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, most known as MC OLUOMO, he also implored Istijabah to speak a boss to followers discussions with his followers, so as to ensure peace reigns between the transportation forum and Lagos State at large. “Esi Adura” also appreciates the leadership of Ayedade and says that he’s not saying this to flatter his leadership but to celebrate effectiveness and efficiency.
In his possible best, he brought the heart of Istijabah into memories of the days of struggle and Aluta under the leadership of the former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, he expressed his grievances on the situations that unfurls at those moments, and how everyone had to flee for the safety of their lives and properties. In his words, he said to 1steleven9jatv that the position he attains today wasn’t supposed to be in his favour, but as situation demands, he receives the mandate from Mc Oluomo who lifted his hands up to the zenith and it’s expected for disrespect not to set in as there’s heirachy.
Alhaji Ismail Issa Abiodun once again, implored all supporters of Istijabah not to get engaged in the dispute that earlier happened few days ago, which led to the death and arrest of members in the union as such situation will never be condole with levity hands.
