The procedure that they use in changing their gender into women is called GENDER REASSIGNMENT SURGERY (GRS). This kind of surgery is a very expensive one and it helps a man to change its physical appearance into the opposite gender and vice versa.

1. Bobrisky:
His real name goes by Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju. He is one of the most popular transgender in Nigeria. However, just like others had done, Bobrisky also underwent some transgender surgery to look like a lady.

2. Stephanie Rose :
His real name goes by Dapo Adaralegbe, but presently, he is been called Stephanie Adaralegbe. He dropped out of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in 2001 due to identity crisis because he also considered himself as a woman and the school authority expelled him from the university. After his expulsion, he travelled to Europe and that was where he underwent an extensive surgery to become Stephanie Adaralegbe that we all popularly know today.
3. Miss Sahhara :
Her real name goes by Clifford Oche, but presently, she is been referred to as Miss Sahhara. She is a native of Benue state and also graduate of Benue State University (BSU). Miss Sahhara was the first Nigerian transgender to ever come out publicly on international press during the Miss International Queen beauty pageant in Pattaya, Thailand, in 2011.
4. Noni Salma Lawal :
His real name goes by Habeeb Babatunde Lawal. He graduated from the University of Lagos (Unilag) after studying theatre arts and became a Nigerian entertainment journalist. However, after undergoing through his transformation surgery, Habeeb changed his name into Noni Salma Lawal.
