Davido has awarded Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a highly respected employee at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Nigeria, $10,000 for her extraordinary act of sincerity.
Only a few days earlier, Mary had swiftly located and returned a missing $70,000 in Lagos to its rightful owner.
Despite some internet users’ concerns about returning such a sizable sum, particularly given the state of the economy, Davido decided to track down Mary and pay her back for her kind acts.
He wrote, “Find her for me…I donate $10,000,” in a tweet.
This kind deed is consistent with Davido’s earlier charitable deeds, like his most recent donation of 237 million naira to Nigerian orphanages.
