It has come to my attention that false rumours are linking me to the recent demolition and burning of shanties at Adeniji Adele Phase 1. As a proud Lagos Island native, I do not engage in property demolition. I am a party man, I respect government directives, and I am always available for communication to ensure peace and prevent chaos.

One Mr. Gbolahan Ogundimu Odusanya known for spreading misinformation, has falsely claimed my direct involvement. Despite his assertions of being close to people in power, he has neither contacted me to verify facts nor reported to the relevant authorities. His accusations—that I participated in the demolition or have an agreement with another NURTW chieftain, Comrade Rafiu Bashorun (Abija)- to unlawfully acquire the said property—are entirely baseless. The properties in question belong either to the Lagos State Government or to private families. My connections exist solely for coordination, peacekeeping, and maintaining public order.

Adeniji Adele Phase 1 has faced security challenges, but I have consistently acted in the interest of law, order, and community welfare. Those spreading rumours could have contacted me directly to verify facts instead of peddling falsehoods.

I remain committed to protecting affected residents and advocating for the less privileged. I will continue to lead NURTW Lagos State with integrity, promoting peace, unity, and social harmony. To those spreading falsehoods: the truth will always prevail.
