Popular London-based music promoter Adetutu Jakande, popularly known as Angel Global Promotion UK, will power a three-in-one celebration on 15 January 2026 for fast-rising Fuji artiste Dr. Engr. Olasunkanmi Ashamu (Sure Mercy).
The event will mark his 48th birthday, album launch and 35 years in music, and will take place at Fidimayiye Events and Suites, New Oko Oba GRA, Abule Egba, Lagos. A major highlight of the occasion will be the official unveiling of his new album titled “One Day.”
The celebration is expected to draw music enthusiasts, industry stakeholders and well-wishers who will gather to celebrate Dr. Ashamu’s enduring contributions to the Nigerian music industry.
Renowned Fuji icon Alhaji Sulaimon Adio Atawewe (Etu-Osi Oba Oje) will serve as the Father of the Day, adding prestige to the event, which will feature live performances, tributes and moments of appreciation.
Top Fuji stars expected to grace the event include King Saheed Osupa, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Alhaji Shefiu Alao, Alhaji Sule Alao Adekunle (Malaika), Alhaji Taye Currency, among others.
