Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi of Promised Land Prophetic Ministry Worldwide has thrown his support behind Humanity University, Okeigbo, describing the vision as “long overdue” for the development of education, culture, and humanity.
The respected cleric, who is from Okeigbo and also serves as one of the university’s patrons, expressed delight when the Chairman of Omo Oduduwa Global Heritage Ltd paid him a courtesy visit at his church in Akure.
During the meeting, Pastor Akinbiyi reaffirmed his commitment to support the establishment of Humanity University, Okeigbo — the proposed world-class institution in Okeigbo, the hometown of D.O. Fagunwa.
The pastor, who is highly connected both within Nigeria and abroad, noted that the university project would contribute immensely to educational advancement, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and economic growth in the community.
He further encouraged sons and daughters of Okeigbo, as well as stakeholders across the world, to unite and support the vision of establishing a globally recognized university in the historic town.
