The Cherubim and Seraphim Film Ministry is set to release two new Christian faith-based movies titled Man with Many Heads and The Mysterious Wedding.
According to a statement issued by the founder of the ministry, Senior Apostle/Prophet Olugbenga Taiwo Ashiyanbi (popularly known as Asaph), the movies will be available for public viewing shortly.
Relating the inception and vision behind the ministry, Prophet Ashiyanbi revealed that the mandate began nearly 28 years ago through a series of divine revelations.
”The call to start this ministry began about twenty-eight years ago through a revelation,” Ashiyanbi stated. “In a dream, I saw Jesus Christ on the cross, and I inquired about the path I was destined to follow. Instantly, I saw Him place a video camera, a film box, and a white bag into my hands. I had this exact dream on three separate occasions.”
He noted that the encounter marked a turning point in his life journey, aligning him with the creative arts and positioning him to tell the authentic stories of the Cherubim and Seraphim church to a global audience.
”Since then, I began to observe the direction of my life. I frequently found myself among actors and realized that telling our story as members of the Cherubim and Seraphim fold is a powerful medium to enlighten the world about our church.
”I recognized that not everyone is granted the grace to plant a physical church branch; for me, the grace God bestowed upon me to propagate the Gospel is through film production,” he explained.
Addressing the spiritual backing of the mandate, the cleric affirmed that spiritual leaders and subsequent spiritual experiences validated his calling.
”My experiences over the years confirm that this is where the Holy Spirit led me. Spiritual elders I met also confirmed that I should establish a Christian film ministry. The core purpose of this enterprise is the propagation of the Gospel. We cannot sit back and allow people to misrepresent or cast negative aspersions on the Cherubim and Seraphim church; our duty is to shine light into dark places,” Ashiyanbi added.
Emphasizing unity within the denomination, he clarified that the film project brings together members across various constituent branches of the church.
”I also want the public to know that our cast and crew represent the unity of the church. Members come from Sacred, Eternal, Movement (Ayọ Ni O), and other branches across the country. There is no division among us; we are operating in total unity to spread the Gospel nationwide.”
Speaking on the upcoming releases, Prophet Ashiyanbi noted that The Man with Many Heads and The Mysterious Wedding inspired by real-life events. He expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of both projects despite the challenges encountered on set during production
