The Coalition of Southern and Middle Belt Youth Leaders Assembly (COSMBYLA), has condemned Monday’s terrorists attack on a train conveying passengers from Abuja to Kaduna that left scores of people dead.
COSMBYLA which is an umbrella body of all the youth groups in the South East, South South, South West and Middle Belt regions, sympathized with the families of those who lost their loved ones to the terrorist attack.
A statement made available to the Guardian yesterday signed by the President General,
Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) Hon. Goodluck Egwu Ibem, the Coordinator, Forum of Middle Belt Youth Presidents, Terrence Kuanum and Coordinator, South West Youth Leaders Forum (SWYLF), Shittu Waheed, declared that the successful execution of coordinated terrorist attacks without any intelligence gathering by security agencies is a confirmation that President Buhari has surrendered Nigerian sovereignty to terrorists.
“It is so shameful and disgraceful that such terrorists attacks will be planned and executed on Nigerian soil,… a supposed giant of Africa without any intelligence to arrest those involved.
