Young and vibrant Jubril Ajibola Balogun, one of the sons of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Sen. Mohood Olalekan Balogun, has said during his father’s reign, wonderful things will begin to happen.
Jubril, who is a student of Public Administration, at the Lead City University, while addressing pressmen at the weekend, described the new king as a major factor in the family.
“As a father, he is wonderful. He is a major factor in the family. He brings everyone together. Without him, a lot of us won’t be here today. Not to us alone, he is always ready to go to any length to ensure anyone is happy. If anyone, even if such person is not a family member, needs a help, he makes sure such person or people will laugh at the end.”
“Therefore, I will say Ibadan is more than lucky to have someone like him on the throne. I believe wonderful things that have not happened before will begin to happen during his reign. To start with, he is an educated and very understanding king who has great plans to take Ibadan to greater heights and to unite the Yoruba people. Apart form being a monarch, he is a national person,” Jubril, who is eyeing a seat at the Oyo State House of Assembly in 2023, noted.
