…As Business Mogul, Muritala Obalowu, Holds Fidau Prayer For Dad
Business mogul and philanthropist, Alh Obalowu Muritala Jimoh, popularly known as Muri Onirin, lost his dad on the second day of January.
According to him, the news came as a shock to him because he didn’t see coming but nothing could have been done to avert such terrible occurrence since it has been ordained by Allah.
Alhaji AbdulMaleek Oba Olowu Alao passed on on the 2nd of January, as stated earlier. The Fidau held on 9th of January.
The Fidau had brought together all the children of the deceased, including the philanthropic Obalowu who had to fly down from the United States of America to pay his father the last respect.
Speaking, he said “My father has left a very good legacy that we shall carry on. He trained us to be strong, dogged, versatile, peaceful and hardworking. It is a colossal loss to me because I will miss him personally. I pray that Allah grant him eternal rest and forgive his sins,” he expressed bitterly.
