Nigerian-born, London-based rapper Greo is back with a powerful new single titled “Wa Do Ghe,” the first release from his upcoming EP Benin 2 London. Translating to “Come See” in Edo, the track blends street realism with cultural storytelling, giving listeners a raw look at life from Benin City to the fast-paced grind of London.
He had previously released a prelude to the project “London Times”
Over gritty drums and sharp lyricism, Greo reflects on survival, identity, and the lessons carried from home. The first verse dives into the realities of growing up in Benin:

“Benin born and Benin bred…
Privileges weaved me through gun fights like I’m the one in Matrix.”
He anchors the track with Edo proverbs that hit like warnings from the elders:
“Money comes fast and goes fast.”
“Your mother isn’t here for you to cry to.”
The second verse flips the scene to London, where ambition takes centre stage:
“Didn’t trade Nairas for tourist sites…
From Enfield to Camden, doing runs like cricket batsmen.”
“Wa Do Ghe” is gritty, honest, and culturally rich — setting the tone for the upcoming Benin 2 London EP, a project exploring migration, identity, and the realities of living between two worlds.
