Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day will be celebrated in style as Emirates House Entertainment, in collaboration with Arabo Promotion, presents “Mama Yoruba Nigeria Independent Show” on October 1st, 2025. The event, scheduled to start at 5pm prompt, will feature a performance by renowned artist K-Shanana at 112 Mooi Street, Johannesburg, South Africa.
This event marks a significant milestone, as Mama Yoruba has been hosting Nigeria’s Independence Day celebrations in South Africa for years. Notably, K-Shanana was the first artist to break out on this stage about 13 years ago, paving the way for other notable artists like King Saheed Osupa to perform.
K-Shanana’s return to the stage this year promises to be an exciting experience for fans. Following his performance, he plans to release a new single track upon his return to Nigeria. Another hit single, “Aduro ti Oluwa, koni jogun ofo,” is also in the pipeline, with Dr. Bee set to produce and release the video immediately after the single drops. This will likely be followed by a global tour, further solidifying K-Shanana’s reputation as a talented and influential artist.
The anniversary is to be celebrated at South Africa again this year to emphasize the theme of unity both nation preach, patriotism, and national development.
