The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede has sent a hearty congratulations to the new speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, RT. Hon. Mojisola Lasbat Meranda on her election as the first female speaker of the state assembly.
The council Boss in a statement released by his media office on Monday congratulated RT. Hon. Meranda for the elevation, describing her as “an astute lawmaker, versed in legislative duties and a public servant of distinction,” who has positively impacted her immediate constituency and the state in general.
Otunba Oloyede commended the legislators for handling the change of baton without any form of crisis and that it shows the maturity that exists in the prestigious Lagos State House of Assembly.
The council honcho prayed for successful tenure for her and wish the house continuous peace and progress, urging them to continue to support the Governor in his efforts at transforming the state to greater heights.
