The Nigeria Police Force, Lagos state division has declared one Aiyegbusi, 27, Male, wanted following his alleged involvement in gay practices.
In a statement, the Department of State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), quoting an intelligence report, explained that Aiyegbusi was allegedly caught by his wife in the United Kingdom with one Tomide Awarun who was alleged to be his partner ‘while engaging themselves indecently as fellow men.
According to information available to the law enforcement agency being reported by the wives family back here in Nigeria, he was caught by his wife engaging in the act, with other man in the UK, even though they were legally married.
This, we gathered led to his wife asking for divorce and reported him to their family back in Nigeria. And the family has since reported him to the police to make an arrest upon his return to Nigeria.
The police, therefore, has placed him wanted, upon his return to Nigeria, as it was gathered that he also have a partner here in Nigeria.
We gathered that Aiyegbusi was summoned by the police, following the report by the wife’s family but because he is not in the country at the moment, the police therefore placed him on wanted list since July 28, 2025.
The statement read: “In accordance with the law banning homosexuality, the Nigeria Police Force, Lagos State has declared Aiyegbusi, 27, Male, wanted. He is from Ondo state, but a resident of Abuja, dark in complexion, 5’7ft tall, and he is on the run following his involvement in homosexuality.
