Today, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu showered praises on his wife, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she marks her 65th birthday.
In a heartfelt message, the President described her as more than just a wife but a partner, confidant, and counsellor whose strength and grace have been his anchor through life’s many seasons from political struggles and years of exile to leadership responsibilities.
“Oluremi, you are the love of my life. You have stood by me with patience, dignity, and devotion that words can hardly capture. In you, our children and grandchildren see compassion and faith, while Nigerians see the true strength of womanhood firm yet tender, humble yet resolute,” President Tinubu said.
The President noted that beyond the public eye, her quiet sacrifices and unwavering support have served Nigeria in immeasurable ways.
“As your husband, I thank God for your life, health, and love. As your President, I salute you as a First Lady whose warmth and empathy touch millions. And as your lifelong companion, I say I love you more than ever and count you as my greatest blessing,” he added.
He prayed for many more years of peace, joy, and fulfilment for the First Lady.
“Happy 65th birthday, Oluremi. Your love is a treasure I will always cherish.”
