Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede Badiru, fondly called TAB, remains one of the most remarkable leaders to have steered the affairs of the NURTW in Lagos State.

As a former Lagos State Chairman of the union, Vice Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress Lagos, and an active member at the national level, his legacy continues to speak loudly through the lives he touched and the structures he built.

TAB was not just a chairman; he was a father, mentor, dependable boss, and a leader with uncommon vision. He was the kind of man who never made empty promises. When he spoke about a better future for members, he worked tirelessly to make it a reality. His tenure brought hope, stability, and progress to countless members who today still testify to his impact.

One of his enduring achievements was the completion of the old NURTW secretariat, a project that stood as a symbol of commitment and service. Not stopping there, he went further to build the new State Council secretariat, a landmark legacy that forever etched his name in the history of the union in Lagos State.

During his administration, so many members rose, grew, and achieved greatness. Many families found stability, many careers blossomed, and many lives changed for the better because TAB believed leadership is about lifting others. That is why he is rightly called a silent achiever , a man whose works speak louder than words.

Baba has always shown himself to be a good father to all, a caring leader, and a responsible elder statesman whose concern for the welfare of members was genuine and consistent. His leadership style was built on wisdom, compassion, discipline, and long-term vision.

May Almighty God continue to strengthen Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede Badiru with sound health, longer life, greater wisdom, and abundant peace. May his legacy of service continue to shine, and may he continue to reap the fruits of the seeds of progress he planted in the lives of many. May joy never depart from his home, and may generations yet unborn continue to celebrate his good works. Amen.
