1steleven9jatv.com reports that Professor Folasade Ogunsola, a Professor of Microbiology at the College of Medicine, has emerged as the first female Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Ogunsola who emerged as the first female Vice Chancellor of the 60-year-old institution will succeed Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, whose five-year tenure will elapse next month.

The  Professor was on Friday night chosen as the 13th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, UNILAG by the selection committee of the institution.
