Following the dramatic and tragic incident involving Jide, a popular figure on TikTok whose real name is Babajide Samson, and his deceased girlfriend, Tope Aishat Ayoola, has led to a passionate and urgent plea for justice by her family to all Nigerians and the State Government.
According to an eyewitness who claims to be anonymous; it was a slight argument between both partners that eventually escalated into a major one leading to the death of Tope, as she was seen fighting for her life at the backyard where her Boyfriend lives, No 3, Oyewole Street, Onipanu, Obasanjo, Sango-Ota.
The father of the deceased who reached out to our correspondent, stated that “There’s definitely a foul play surrounding the death of Tope Aishat Ayoola” and cry out for help over the systemic hurdles that might hamper the investigation as the prime suspect, Babajide Samson, is yet to be seen since the incident occured.
However, the family of late Tope Aishat Ayoola makes an urgent plea to the Ogun State government, led by Governor Dapo Abiodun, to intervene and ensure justice is served in the circumstances surrounding her death, as they seek accountability and answers to bring closure and peace to their grieving family.
As at while filing this report, the suspect is yet to be arrested, and investigations are still ongoing on the murder case.
