Omo Oduduwa Heritage Day, which took place on the 4th of April 2026 at Ikeja Club, was a remarkable celebration of Yoruba culture, unity, and heritage.

 

The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including the Director of Creative Arts from the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, who represented the Honourable Commissioner of the Ministry. Also in attendance was Hon. Taiwo, who represented Hon. Kafilat Ogbara, Member of the House of Representatives (MHR) for Kosofe Federal Constituency.

 

The event also welcomed Elder Shadrach Oladipupo, CEO of Shadroyal Nig. Ltd and President of Okeigbo Valued Friends Club, whose presence added great value to the occasion. Additionally, Babalábùlé, the Ijọba Ọ̀rọ̀ of Ariya FM, was present, further enriching the cultural significance of the gathering.

 

Their presence added prestige and significance to the occasion, reinforcing the importance of preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Yoruba people.

 

The celebration featured vibrant cultural displays, traditional performances, and a gathering of proud sons and daughters of Oduduwa, all united in the spirit of cultural pride and continuity.
