We’re delighted to announce Coach Ajala Oluwamuyiwa Oluwasegun to join the team as the New head coach today at the academy Camp in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Ajala Oluwamuyiwa when addressing the players he said: “I’m very much delighted to be in your midst, I’m here to teach and impact more knowledge in you and also learn from you as well, don’t see me as your father but as a friend and brother who you can confide in at any point in time when you have anything bothering your mind. This is a huge honour. Buruj Football Club has been one of the top notch football team in Nigeria.
“We all know there is a lot of work to be done, but I am confident we’ll do it. I’m realistic enough to know it won’t happen overnight but the current squad has plenty of talent and there is a great pipeline of young players coming through from the academy.”
Dr. Waheed Salaudeen Buruj the CEO of the club said: “We welcome our new Head Coach on board to head the coaching Crew. In a our meeting our expectations and those of our Sponsors around the world are burtresed and we are confident he can play a lead role in taking the team to the greater height with his wealth of experience as a Football Coach and a Referee.
“I also appreciate the former Head Coach Fatai Aminu for working tiredlessly to carve out the desired potentials in the boys. He stepped up at short notice and has helped paddle our ship of achievements forward.
“I must also acknowledge Ishola Shuaibu, both has been doing a vital job for us in difficult circumstances. Aminu and Shuaib are important parts of the Buruj Sports family and they care deeply for the team.”
I also implore all coaching crew to work together as one and deliver their tasks appropriately.
Lastly “To the Newly registered and returning players, it is our joy to make you standout in the world of football while boosting the global image and also strengthening the team but remember this wouldn’t be achievable without your total co-operation and responsiveness.
