I AM THE OWNER OF THIS PROPERTY, INCLUDING ONE OF THE BUILDINGS CLOSE TO LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL (LUTH), AND I PERSONALLY WITNESSED EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN THE EARLY HOURS OF FRIDAY MORNING.
I am calling on the Lagos Press the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu , tLagos State Government, the Nigeria Police Force, the @Lagos State Ministry of Justice the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and all relevant security agencies to urgently investigate what happened at my property in Mushin.
While I was outside the country, I received information that Hammed Deji had allegedly sold my house, including the lock-up shops and mini-flats, without my knowledge, consent, or authority, allegedly in connection with Oba Odiolowo Sikirilahi Olamide Ayinde Williams( https://www.facebook.com/share/1A2HLSj8Ht/ )
I was also informed that Oba Odiolowo has allegedly been involved in providing documents used to support claims over properties belonging to other people, apparently on the basis that, as an Oba, he has authority over such properties.
I only returned to the country on Thursday. I had no time to prepare a proper petition, so I immediately drove to the property. I arrived there at about 1:00 a.m.
Because of the seriousness of what I had been told, I called 112 and requested police intervention.
About two hours later, four police officers arrived in a Sienna police bus. Approximately 30 minutes later, the DPO, Mr. Garuba, arrived. I have known him for many years, including from his time at Area D Police Command.
I explained everything to him and pleaded with him to remain at the property until daylight because I was seriously concerned about what might happen to my property.
To my surprise, I was told that the police could not remain there because it might appear as though the police were protecting my property. They did not spend up to 30 minutes at the property before they eventually left.
Shortly after the police left, another group of men arrived in a white bus carrying a large ladder, hammers, and other objects that could potentially be used as weapons. Two of the men were also carrying guns .
I was physically present, and I personally saw these men.
The leader of the group was known to me as SANDOKA. I do not know his real name.
I personally stood against them as they attempted to gain access to my property, with the assistance of some people around the area. They were resisted and eventually ran away when they realised that more people were gathering and that daylight was approaching.
I witnessed the entire incident.
I am stating clearly that, based on the information I received and what subsequently happened at the property, I have reason to suspect that these men may have been sent by Oba Odiolowo. This is because one of the men called the Oba while stating that the owner of the house was present.
I therefore demand that the Oba explain any alleged connection between himself, Sandoka, and the men who came to my property.
I also demand answers from Hammed Olawale Deji concerning the alleged sale of my property.
QUESTIONS THAT MUST BE ANSWERED
WHO GAVE HAMMED OLAWALE DEJI THE AUTHORITY TO SELL MY PROPERTY?
WHERE DID THE DOCUMENTS ALLEGEDLY USED FOR THE SALE COME FROM?
WHO SENT SANDOKA AND THE MEN WHO CAME TO MY PROPERTY?
WHAT AUTHORITY, IF ANY, DOES OBA ODI OLOWO HAVE OVER MY PROPERTY?
I am the owner. I was there. I saw what happened.
I am therefore calling for an immediate, thorough, and impartial investigation into the activities of Oba Odiolowo, Hammed Olawale Deji, Sandoka, and every other person connected to this matter.
I also wish to place on record my position concerning the alleged traditional authority being claimed over my property. I dispute any claim by Sikiru, the Oba of Odiolowo, to have any ownership or proprietary authority over my property.
I maintain that I acquired the property from the Efunroye family and that I have all the relevant documents in my possession, including evidence of the lodgment of my survey at the Surveyor-General’s Office, the family receipt, and other supporting documents.
Let it also be on record that, according to my understanding of the history I have been informed about, Sikirilahi Williams’ progenitor was a slave to Efunroye, and his name was Eyisha. I know the history of this matter and will present whatever evidence I have to the appropriate authorities. You are a criminal for trying to come during such time to perpetuate evil .
I will provide the relevant authorities with whatever documents, evidence, and information I have in my possession to support my claim.
I am not asking anyone to take my word alone. Let the documents be examined. Let the alleged sale documents be investigated. Let the identities of the men who came to my property be established. Let all relevant evidence be properly examined.
LET THE TRUTH COME OUT.
LET THE LAW TAKE ITS COURSE.

I WILL NOT SURRENDER MY PROPERTY.
I respectfully call on the appropriate authorities to intervene urgently before there is any further attempt to unlawfully enter, damage, sell, transfer, or take possession of my property.
