LagRide has announced the commencement of a new training session for aspiring professional captains under its LagRide Academy.
The training programme is scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the LagRide Hub, 31 Mobolaji Johnson Avenue, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
According to the company, the academy is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to become professional LagRide Captains. Interested applicants are expected to pay a training fee of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only).
As part of the recruitment process, LagRide has scheduled Open Days for prospective applicants on September 1, 8, 15 and 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to provide information on the programme and guide intending captains through the application process.
The company also announced that training sessions will hold on September 3, 10, 17 and 24, commencing at 8:00 a.m., while deployment of successful captains is scheduled for September 14 and 28, also from 8:00 a.m.
