Gubernatorial aspirant for Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Ogun State in 2023 election, Mr Segun Sowunmi, has urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to make himself accessible to the people of the state.

Sowunmi, who equally charged the governor to embark more on legacy programmes and projects aside paying workers’ salaries, admonished him to open his doors wide and make himself available to the people of the state.

He stated this on Monday when Mr. Johnson Akinpelu, publisher of Boseri, a Yoruba Newspaper conferred him with the award of ‘ Akogun Awon Oloselu’ at his residence in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The PDP chieftain said that in the last five years of the state had never felt the physical present of the governor in market places or public space where he was seen waving to them except during special events or last election period.

He, however, expressed the people dissatisfaction over their inaccessibility to the governor, noting they might not speak well of the current administration if such continues

He also wondered why Abiodun would abandoned the Government House located at Isale Igbein, Abeokuta South Local Government Area since his inception in office in 2019, hinting that such had not happened in the history of the state.

” The governor should be accessible to the people of the state, the people should have access to him so they can feel his government more and he should bring in more of legacy programmes, projects and reformations, and not dwelling on salaries of workers alone,” Sowunmi added
