Yoruba movie industry may suffer terrible decline, reduction in raw talents and nosedive completely if the key stakeholders who passed through the proper chains of growth in the industry continue to indulge INGRATES, MEDIOCRITY and DISRESPECT for selfish and malicious reasons. Every industry has it’s peculiar pillars that sustain it’s growth everywhere in the world.
The core entertainment sector globally has their ideology; socially or economically (particularly movies & music) based on culture of mentorship, culture of respect, culture of legacy, culture of gratitude, culture of practice, culture of quality, culture of hardwork etc.
Desperacy, envy, malice, poverty, mediocrity etc are why some will blatantly encourage an obvious desperate and impatient green horn, they only care about the pot of porridge and not the industry. Consequently, everyone suffer from this gluttonous decisions. If a sector suffers exodus of such ills, paradventure their likes are in large number, it is no rocket science to know what will happen imminently.
THE INDUSTRY WILL WITNESS DECLINE IN POOL OF RAW TALENTS and mediocres with no known root in the industry will take over and be the face of the mainstream, while those who suffer to build the industry languish, suffer decline in finances, health and wallow in penury.
We will continue to have production money that circulates poverty often, hence the decline because of what we invited and encouraged. The Yoruba movie industry was established by pioneers and it’s spiritual background include truth, gratitude, respect, helping talents up, patriotism etc.
PLEASE, DON’T DESTROY SUCH IMPORTANT PART OF THE COUNTRY ONLINE OR OFFLINE. The question is, WHAT IS YOUR ROOT AND BACKGROUND IN THE MOVIE INDUSTRY? That defines you not…… What do you encourage in the industry?
Shall we go back to the conventional practices, so we can SAVE THE CORE NIGERIAN MOVIE INDUSTRY. Abo mi re o.
