The passing of a beloved figure is never easy, but it is often marked by a celebration of their life and legacy. Such is the case with the upcoming burial arrangements for Rev. Mother in Israel Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo, formerly known as Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo (Nee Joseph). As friends, family, and well-wishers come together to honor her memory, a series of events have been organized to commemorate her life.

 

The burial activities kick off on the 29th of May with an open-air revival service organized by her church in Ipaja. Prophetic Evangelist Ekunola Davies and Emirate Prophet (Oluso, C.C.C Imole International Cathedral) will be delivering sermons, alongside Ade Oyebade (Baba Adura), as attendees gather to reflect on her life and teachings.

 

On the following day, the 30th of May, the focus shifts to a Christian wake-keeping ceremony, where the body of Rev. Mother in Israel Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo will lie in state. C&S Unification will oversee the proceedings, with Prophet Dele Ogundipe a.k.a Genesis in attendance. Following the wake-keeping, an Artiste Night will commence, featuring performances by some of the top gospel artistes in the industry.

 

The culmination of the burial arrangements will take place on the 31st of May at Alade Stadium, Command, Ipaja. Recognizing the immense number of people expected to attend, the event will be held in a carnival-like atmosphere rather than in a traditional hall setting. This final day will be filled with music and celebration, with notable artistes such as Pasuma Wonder, King Boye Best, Mega99, Alayo (Melody Singer), and Abass Akande Obesere taking the stage to pay tribute to Rev. Mother in Israel Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo.

As the community comes together to honor and remember her, it is evident that Rev. Mother in Israel Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo’s impact and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew her.

 

She is survived by popular O.A.P-cum-event compere, Baroyin Apede a.k.a Olusoji Omotayo, amongst others. As the community comes together to honor and remember her, it is evident that Rev. Mother in Israel Florence Titilola Oluwabunmi Omotayo’s impact and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew her.
