Victims of fraudulent activities of one Hajiya Maryam Aliyu aka Maryam Yusuf Abubakar, the National POWA market leader and wife of a newly promoted Assistant Commissioner Of PoliceACP Aliyu are calling on the Inspector General Of Police to intervene and help them collect their money or shop from her
The heartless police officer wife Hajiya Maryam collected whopping sum of over ₦500,000,000 (five hundred millions of naira from innocent civilians and retired police officers wives including a retired Lagos commissioner Of Police in pretence of selling shops at the new Powa shopping mall opposite bishop vining church in GRA lagos to them but she eventually absconded with the money.
In our findings, she sold a shop to five or six people which has caused a serious calamity among the buyers.
Most of the civilians said they collected loan while the retired Police who used their hard earned retirement money for the transaction are busy lamenting now.
According to a victims, any one that dares to call her, she will use senior police officers to threaten the person that some people paid for up to 4 shops and Same fraudulent act took place in Benin also.
Meanwhile from her hide out,
DIG’s wives were calling civilians to threaten them over the shops they paid for which has been allocated to them already.
One of them said, when she contacted Hajiya Maryam, she claimed that she is only working according to the IG’s wife’s instructions.
struggling civilians are crying over losing money to police wives and no where to run to as they can’t go to police station to report due to her influence. All efforts to reach the IG’s wife failed .
