The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) unity cup that has the participation of U-13, U-16, and U-18 respectively kicks off today, Saturday 8th October, 2019 at exactly 10am, Bishop Aggey Memorial Grammar School, Mushin, Lagos State.
Ever since the inception of the ABAT Unity Cup, without any modicum of doubt, it has produced international players, specifically U-17 International players from Nigeria.
The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) Unity Cup was established to see the growth of young Nigerian players who are talented and need to be seen across the globe.
In a closed-door interview with the convener, Mr. Abiodun Tanimola Macaulay, popularly addressed as “ATM”, said that, the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) unity Cup is a yearly event that fosters peace, unity and preaches love with young talented teenagers and youths of this nation, and also it is also established to market our young players internationally, as that’s part of our own quota to the development of the nation.
Furthermore, he said that ABAT is created from the idea of the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who’s a lover of teenagers, youths and sports.
