Sujimoto Group has distanced itself from a website allegedly using its name to promote investment and registration schemes, warning members of the public to avoid any dealings with the platform and individuals claiming to represent the company through unauthorized channels.
In a statement issued by its management, the luxury real estate firm said a website operating under the link https://www.sujimotonigpro.com/#/create?inviteCode=acgldq has no affiliation whatsoever with Sujimoto Group, its Group Managing Director, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele, or any of its business operations.
The company described the website and its activities as fraudulent, unauthorized, and unrepresentative of its values, operations, business interests, or official communications.
According to the statement, while the company views attempts by fraudsters to associate with its brand as evidence of its growing reputation and influence in the real estate sector, it strongly condemns any effort to exploit its name to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.
“Sujimoto Group considers it a testament to the strength, credibility and growing influence of its brand that unscrupulous individuals seek to leverage its name to gain public trust. However, our hard-earned goodwill must never be used as a vehicle for fraudulent activities,” the company stated.
The firm also used the opportunity to clarify the status of its projects, noting that all units at its flagship LucreziaBySujimoto development have been completed and handed over to their respective owners and investors.
It further disclosed that construction of LeonardoBySujimoto, which it described as a landmark development expected to become the tallest and most luxurious residential tower in West Africa, is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Sujimoto stressed that no individual, agent, broker, company, or third party has been authorized to market, sell, allocate, reserve, or collect funds on behalf of the LeonardoBySujimoto project.
The company stated that any discussion regarding the sale of units in the development can only be conducted directly under the authority of its Group Managing Director, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele.
It warned that any person or organization claiming to be selling units, receiving deposits, offering investment opportunities, or soliciting funds under the name of Sujimoto Group or in connection with LeonardoBySujimoto without express authorization should be regarded as fraudsters.
The company urged prospective investors and members of the public to exercise caution, verify information through official channels, and refrain from sharing personal information, transferring funds, or engaging in transactions through the website or any unauthorized representatives.
Sujimoto further revealed that it has commenced actions in collaboration with security and law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter and ensure that those behind the alleged fraudulent operation are identified, apprehended, and prosecuted.
The company encouraged anyone approached by the operators of the scheme or possessing information regarding the website or unauthorized sales claims relating to LeonardoBySujimoto to report such activities via email to info@sujimotonig.com and to relevant security authorities.
Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, integrity, and excellence, Sujimoto Group pledged to continue protecting the interests of the public while safeguarding its corporate reputation from fraudulent and criminal elements.
