Over the last couple of years, Sam Ifon has emerged as arguably the most prolific and most versatile Nigerian born Songwriter. He has won several music awards and his recent branch into Gospel music has resulted in the recording of two great Gospel albums namely, Echoes Of Love and Supernatural Gospel, featuring great songs like Glory Hallelujah, Abba Father, Rise and Walk, God I Thank You Etc.
Sam also writes and composes songs on contemporary issues and social justice. His recent release “Let Them Go”, highlights the plight of the Igbo people of Eastern Nigeria whom he believes were wrongly accused of staging an “Igbo Coup” leading to pogroms, the Nigerian Civil war and other brutal consequences that reverberate to this day. He believes that the energy used in holding the Ibos down has resulted in the incapacitation of Nigeria as a country.
Currently Sam Ifon is in the process of setting up the Lagos Music House, which will serve as a music production hub and record Label. Sam would like to partner with investors, music marketers and record producers in this new venture.
