It was comedy galore on Tuesday, in Ekiti State, at the All Progressives Congress Mega Rally, as the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun was introduced as the Eleyi of Ogun State.
In a video making round on social media, the anchor man who had earlier introduced the governor, came back to the microphone to say he has been informed that he did not introduce Governor Dapo Abiodun properly, “as the Eleyi of Ogun State. The Eleyi of Ogun State is here”.
Everyone on the podium including Dapo Abiodun himself immediately busted into laughter, while King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, who was standing by with his band immediately put the words to musical lyrics, “Eleyi, Omo Oba pataki“, he sang, with joy in the air.
The APC Mega Rally is in preparation towards Saturday, June 18, Ekiti Governorship Election. All political gladiators, including Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu were in Ekiti to route for the party candidate, Biodun Oyebanji.
