Fuji Star, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere widely recongnized as ‘Obesere’ humbled himself before his creator while performing at the just concluded “Fuji In Da Garden”, an event organised by Fuji A Opera & FUMAN, to commemorate the Independence Day.
The event, which was held at RF Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos State, on October 1, 2021, featured the duo of the legendary Obesere and Shanko Rasheed.
While the show was about to reach climax, Shanko was introduced to the stage by the anchor, Jide Taiwo, to open the floor for the energetic and charismatic Egungun Becareful crooner. Shanko, however, came on board and delivered his magical performance.
It was the moment everyone was waiting for! The whole performance took a new turn when the Agbaakin Abobagunwa went spiritual after dishing out hits from his collections of songs. He then went down on his knees and appreciated God with all manner of praises, and the audience was dazed at his gestures and level of spirituality.
