A certain Alhaji Adesina, who claims to be an hajj operator, has accused NAHCON of corruption in a widely shared audio on social media. He alleged that the commission asked them to pay N250,000 as additional money for transportation during the historic visitation in the holy land within few days or else, they forfeit their chance of performing #Hajj2023.

 

The Commission has swiftly debunked his claim through its Deputy Director, Information and Publication, Mal. Mousa Ubandawaki, saying that the late increment was from Saudi Arabia company, Mutawwif of African Non-Arab, formerly known as Mu’assasa, not NAHCON.

 

Also, the National Secretary of the Association of Hajj and Umrah Operators of Nigeria, AHOUN, Alhaji Qasim Alabi noted that the allegation against the Commission is unfounded, saying that the man is unaware of the full picture of things.
