Statutory delegates to the forthcoming National Convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Adamawa state have thrown their weight behind Mallam Saliu Mustapha for party’s Chairmanship seat.
The delegates who are serving and former House of Assembly members made the pledge during a courtesy call on the aspirant at his campaign headquarters in Abuja.
Led by Hon. Umar Yapak (APC,Verre), the Adamawa lawmakers said they arrived at the decision to back Mustapha because they see him as a unifier based on his antecedents.
“We have heard about how, as Deputy National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), you were fair to all in terms of choice of party candidates.
