DEMSA, ADAMAWA STATE – September 4, 2026 – Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai (rtd) was ably represented yesterday by Mr. Samuel Giwa Bent at a twin historic event in Demsa Local Government Area, underscoring the former Army Chief’s steadfast commitment to educational development and the celebration of exemplary national service.
The events, which drew dignitaries from across the state and beyond, comprised the formal dedication of the newly constructed Library and Administrative Complex of the proposed Lutheran University Nigeria (LUN), alongside the commemoration of the 70th birthday anniversary of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Gidahyelda Mustapha CFR.
In his keynote address on behalf of Lt. Gen. Buratai, Mr. Bent lauded Boss Mustapha as a quintessential statesman and a pride to Adamawa State. He extolled the celebrant’s decades of selfless stewardship, noting that his tenure in public service set a benchmark for integrity, patriotism, and visionary leadership.
