Abdulazeez Adekunle Lawal popularly known as Kunle Poly who is one of the Chieftains of Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has officially joined the Lagos State Motor Parks and Garages Management established by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as part of the movement from the THEMES agenda for better transport services in Lagos State.
This is a move by the peace loving governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the fulfillment of his Government’s promise to ensure that the issues in the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) are not allowed to threaten law and order in the state.
Those who should know squealed that take in of Kunle Poly into the Lagos State Motor Parks and Garages Management is a good initiative by Mr. Governor to strengthen the projected peace plan among all the motor parks and garages’ leaders across the state.
Kunle Poly who is just back from his holiday trip to London, United Kingdom has assured the Lagos State government that he would do his best to support the new management under the chairmanship of Alhaji Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya (MC Oluomo) and make sure that the people working in Lagos State motor parks and garages are sensitized with the new plans of the government in bringing orderliness and peace in the discharge of their duties as part of the THEMES agenda to take Lagos State transportation services to the next level.
For the record, the Lagos state government on March 10, 2022 suspended the NURTW operations in all parks and garages, following the tension sparked by some events in the union which actually affected Kunle Poly and other prominent NURTW chieftains.
