Iya Aladura as she is fondly called hails from ijebu Igbo, and her ministration to people around her is worshiping God with a pure heart.
One of her children, Sunday Timothy Olatunji, a juju-gospel singer, has described Iya Aladura as a wonderful mother whose prayer for her children and every soul that has come in contact with her has been of great impact in their lives.
He said, “Today 4th May is Mama’s birthday, but Sunday has been penciled down for a get-together to sing, dance, and appreciate God for His awesomeness in the life of this great woman.” He submitted.
