1steleven9jatv.com reports that following how the Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been abusing public place etiquette in the course of his 2023 ambition, a perception expert, Dr. Joshua Idoko has heaped the blames on his managers and handlers saying “They are not professionals.”
Idoko maintained that Tinubu’s gaffes in public would cost him acceptance by critical stakeholders home and abroad because “No serious minded stakeholder , home and overseas, would want to support Tinubu in 2023 as a result of the unending disconnects from public etiquette,” he stated adding that “Once they begin to see him as physically unfit for the job, his values would diminish.”
Idoko enumerated some of Tinubu’s public gaffes, in manners and speeches, including how the Presidential candidate dozed into a nap on Saturday during a meeting with the Emir of Gombe, Abubakar Shehu-Abubakar, in what could further suggest frailty of his health.
Tinubu was in Gombe primarily to attend the wedding of Misbahu Inuwa Yahaya, son of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya.
He then stopped by for a brief homage and political meeting at the Emir’s Palace, accompanied by political bigwigs that included Senate President Ahmed Lawan and federal cabinet secretary Boss Mustapha.
As the meeting got underway, Tinubu was captured sleeping while Mr Lawan was holding the microphone addressing attendees at the emir’s living room.
As a remedy, Idoko stressed that Tinubu’s age and state of health may not be too bad that it cannot be managed to avoid constant public scorns.
He stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari was not very healthy in 2014 but was carefully and professionally managed by his handlers .
He noted that Buhari’s handlers always ensured he had kola nut {Gworo in Hausa language} in his mouth whenever he was in the public for either meetings or campaigns.
“That was the reason Buhari was not dozing off in the public in 2014 and 2015 during the campaigns. That should also be recommended for Tinubu. Once he has kola nut to chew stylishly in his mouth in the public, there is no way he would doze off during the period. If that had been done on Saturday by his handlers, the Gombe Palace disgrace, that has gone viral, would have been avoided,” Idoko suggested.
