Young and talented amongst his peers is Monsuru Ajasa Saka, a fuji Act that is well-known as King Macaroni Fuji. His journey into the world of music started right from his childhood days, doing his trade with passion with fans base across the globe.

 

 

Having discovered the great talent he is bestowed with, his practice came into being in the midst of his primary school friends in the Mafoluku area of Oshodi, Lagos, Nigeria back then some decades ago.

 

King Macaroni Fuji (Studor), created his band and performed in various hotels, at events, and festivals. He has performed in different concerts here in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Scotland, and South Africa respectively.

 

Born on Tuesday, 28th December 1976, in Mafoluku, Oshodi, in Lagos, King Macaroni has been able to carve a niche for himself having struggled to hold a name in the entertainment industry especially in fuji music.

 

Being the first son in a family of 6, and the second child, he grew up around the love of his parents and siblings. He attended Larinde Primary School, Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos from 1983 to 1989.

 

Macaroni in his words said, “I was 12 years old when I discovered my musical interest. In 1987, I named myself Studor and took up singing as a profession. The practice started with fellow students at Larinde Primary School. Mafoluku, Oshodi, Lagos”

 

In 1990, Monsuru Ajasa Saka took his passion for fuji music to another level as he started Ajisari (Wéré) within the Mafoluku area to call Muslim’s attention to prayer during the month of Ramadan.

 

 

He formed his first Fuji band named Monsuru Ajasa Studor and His African Fuji High life band and started weekly live performances at Tolulope Hotel, Mafoluku, Lagos. Showcasing his talents too during every festival contributed immensely to his growth in the world of music.

His maiden album, Itelorun-Satisfaction came into being in 2003, successfully, Macaroni, another album came in 2004 marketed by Romoke Adunbarin Films and Records.

Respectfully, he dropped another album ‘I can’t Shout in 2006’, also ‘Awaiting’ in 2009 by Ola-Iya Records, and ‘Glory be 2 God’ in 2011 for same record label company.

His joint album with another top musician, ‘Ase Oba’ was released in 2013, with King Sulaimon Adekunle Alao KS1 Malaika, ‘Let’s Dance’ (2016) with the same fuji act, KS1 Malaika.

Moving forward, he participated in the African All Stars Music Concert in December 2014, London by Ginger Music Company.

 

Also, Monsuru Ajasa had a show tagged Special Nite with King Macaroni Monsuru Ajasa in December 2014, in London as organized by Double G Promotions.

 

Also, Faaji Repete Special Evening Concert in the month of March 2015, in Glasgow by IB Media and Akownjo Promotions.

 

His proficiency in the entertainment industry made him take a shot at a movie titled Lagbondoko in 2022.
